As the head of people development with Jigsaw Better Business, she helps leaders and teams to develop competencies such as emotional intelligence, decision-making, self-awareness, stress management and resilience, psychological safety and a high performing team culture.

She has worked with clients across Ireland and internationally. She also delivers guest lectures for universities, has been a guest on podcasts and webinars, and has had articles published in national newspapers.

Julie's company, Jigsaw Better Business is an award-winning consultancy and through creative problem-solving, people development, and process innovation, we help great businesses BE BETTER.

In our constantly changing world, where many tasks and roles will become automated or obsolete, Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a set of skills that is essential for future-proofing yourself. It is a skillset which help us to understand ourselves, communicate effectively, form strong relationships, and create powerful coping strategies.

EI is a key predictor of performance, especially in socially or emotionally demanding situations; whether that’s leading a team, performing in a sport, navigating stakeholders’ expectations, raising children… The list goes on! In this session on the 1st of February, we will discuss some practical tools and strategies to develop these skills, which will allow us to adapt and cope to our changing and challenging environments.
