Catia Figueiredo

After finishing Secondary School, Catia Figueiredo landed a job at Stradivarius (fashion retailer), where her dedication saw her swiftly rise to the position of branch manager.

Catia's appetite for challenges led her to seize an opportunity in Ireland, transitioning to a role in Medical Device Manufacturing. Recognising her potential, she pursued a Business Management Degree while working, unlocking further career prospects. Specializing in Procurement and later in Project Management, she continually sought growth.

However, the onset of Covid prompted Catia to reevaluate her priorities. Desiring more family time without sacrificing her professional aspirations, she briefly worked with Rosemary in the BookMarket before embarking on her own entrepreneurial journey. After all, who doesn't like being their own boss! With support from her parents, she founded The Imaginarium in November 2023, aiming to provide affordable reading options and diverse products for all ages, fostering a brighter future for South Tipperary Women in Business.

So, this is me in The Imaginarium, where imagination knows no bounds! With a focus on making reading accessible, the store offers a wide range of books from local history to Irish classics, supplemented by arts and crafts supplies and activity books for all ages.
